How would you like to sell your company to Yahoo for a small sum of $300 million dollars?!

That’s what happened to internet entrepreneur, Gurbaksh Chahal, after creating his second online company called BlueLithium. This is after selling his first company, Click Agents, for $40 million at the age of 18.

What advice did he have for others?

He says not to follow money, but instead follow your passion. The money will come. “Any time you start something with the idea that money’s everything, you’re going to end up making decisions that are based on greed, based on short-term goals, and not eventually long-term happiness.” He was quoted during an interview on Oprah. This is the law of attraction at work. Gurbaksh was doing what he loved and eventually everything fell in place…and money fell into his pocket!

Many people are unfamiliar with the feeling of having an open heart. Try this meditation to understand and experience that feeling:

Compassion Meditation
See the world through your heart by pretending you’re missing your head! It’s a very effective meditation. I do it as a quiet meditation as I sit in my room, or I do it while I’m out of the house and around others. I find it very useful when I’m stuck in freeway traffic and I’m becoming irritated.

Bring your focus to your heart chakra and close off the mental activity. Sit here for a while or gaze around. Even if you’re only able to do this for a few seconds, it’s calming and immediately reminds you of the Oneness you have with the Universe.

As I sit in traffic while I do this meditation, I’m reminded that we’re all trying to get to our destinations to do whatever we need to do. We’re all the same. I immediately calm down, crank up the music and sing while I drive! (Or should I say, slowly crawl inch by inch.)

The Miracle of Love and Harmonious Living

Harmonious living occurs when your heart chakra is open and accepting. I spent time with The Barefoot Doctor who presents the ancient Tao in a universally comprehensible and fun way. He explained how the miracle of love is key for bringing into your life the people and things you want. In fact, whatever you desire comes to you through other people. You must be open, accepting, and loving to live in harmony with the Universe. You’ll always get what you want, but it’ll come to you through other people. When you live in love, your life becomes a puzzle of perfectly placed pieces.

I was looking to get a video interview with an acupuncturist. All I needed was a person willing to be my model as the practitioner demonstrates the therapy. I called a friend to see if she was available. She suggested I speak to her friend who wasn’t having luck with a Western doctor and recently began considering acupuncture. They had just spoken the day before. Her friend agreed to be my model and the very next day my call was returned from the acupuncture clinic and I booked the interview. Everything flowed perfectly for us!

What The Miracle of Love Can Do

Water
Dr. Masaru Emoto has evidence that suggests that our thoughts and words affect the molecules of water. He and his colleagues typed several words on various pieces of paper and taped it to different glass bottles containing water. He photographed the frozen molecules and saw a change in shape and form depending on the word placed on the bottle. The words Love and Appreciation create a change in the molecular structure as compared to the words You make me sick. I will kill you. He also tested different types of music and names of deceased people including Hitler and Mother Theresa. The molecules of positive influence look much nicer than the ones given negative attention.

This is astounding since our bodies are comprised of 70% water. Our loving thoughts are just as influential as the negative thoughts so start thinking love! It’s also a good idea to send thoughts into the water you drink. Hold the glass of water in your hands and generate feelings of love, prosperity, good health, wealth, etc. Also, write down the words on your water bottles.

Plants and Animals
The energy field of plants change according to its surroundings. The energy field is higher when humans approach them with kindness. The field lowers when approached with anger. They sense vibrations similarly to our pets! I was at a friend’s house and she and her boyfriend began to argue. The dog who was sitting comfortably on the couch snuck away and left the room. Even animals like to be in a peaceful environment!

Babies
Scientific evidence shows that babies who are loved develop emotionally and biologically healthier than those who are neglected. Not only will the baby develop better, but the child’s capacity to love in his or her life is directly correlated to how much love the baby is given.

Self Love
People with self love are generally happier, more accepting of themselves, and flourish. By comparison those who don’t love themselves have a more difficult time in life.

Finally, here’s a book that’ll dig deeper into manifesting wealth and everything else you desire. Author of You Are Psychic and Extraordinary Psychic: Proven Techniques to Master Your Natural Psychic Abilities, Debra Lynne Katz is has created her third book titled, Freeing the Genie Within.

I interviewed Katz about her book due out in May. She said the title of her book is inspired by the story of the genie in a bottle we learned when we were young. “We tend to think genies are fictional, but since kids we’ve fantasize about having wishes and having them delivered. We do have that power by using thoughts and feelings and shifting the energy field.”

She has read many other books on the law of attraction and discovered they left information out. Using techniques that she found successful in her life, she expands on the law of attraction, and teaches people to, “Raise their expectations as to what they can really have for themselves and to become aware of society’s limitations.” Many of us have been influenced by societal beliefs. We learn world is limited and don’t always aspire beyond our comfort level. It’s also a fear of change that inhibits us from progress.

In Freeing the Genie Within, Katz explains that in order for you to begin manifesting your desires, shifts need to occur. “In order to manifest more of what you want, you’re going to have to be willing to go through changes. My book teaches you how to deal with those changes.”

The reason many of us are afraid of change is because we’re attached to the way we perceive ourselves. We’ve built an identity for ourselves and feel weary if it becomes threatened. We don’t want to lose something we’ve become attached to.

Change also means it may get a bit rough before our destination. “We think that because life is uncomfortable, there’s a problem,” says Katz. The discomfort comes as things are shifting. Think about the discomfort of a scab as it begins to heal the scratch on your arm. Discomfort can be healthy. It means things are moving. We’ve got to accept uncertainty until we make the change.

Take risks. In order to start manifesting wealth, you’ve got to start taking risks. You can visualize and think about money all day, but it takes mobility on your part as well.

Learning to work with your energy vibration is crucial for manifesting wealth. Other books have missed that point and people become frustrated when they misapply the techniques and get no results. Everything in the world is vibration and everything responds to vibration. Recognize when you’re vibrating at a low rate and high rate. Anger, sadness, and frustration are low vibrating energies. You can feel the difference in your body when you’re in these moods versus a happy and healthy mood. If you stay in the low vibration, you attract more of the same negative energy.

If you’re like most people, you have many goals you want to achieve. While one area of your life may be going smoothly, others may be faltering. It is possible to have it all. Evaluate what you want in your life. Are you asking for a relationship at the same time that you’re asking for more independence? Maybe while you’re trying to manifest wealth, you’re setting the bar too low for what you can achieve, or you don’t allow yourself more options to bring the wealth to you. What talents or other interests do you have? Think of other ways to make money beyond the paycheck. Meditate using the creative energy of the second chakra. It was through meditation that the idea for my websites came to me. Shortly after I discovered Site Build It and now I’m manifesting wealth while I sleep!
