Although sometimes referred to an “energy healer,” it is the client who is doing the healing. The “healer” is a conduit of energy. The client has his own free will and is able to accept or reject the healing.

We’re all created of energy. In fact, you can feel your own energy field between your hands. Place your hands close together and concentrate on the feeling between your palms. To enhance the feeling, slowly move your hands closer and farther apart. You may feel tingling, warmth, or a pulling sensation.

Some people are more adept at seeing the energy field or aura. To look at your own, hold your hand out and softly gaze around the edge of your fingers. It works well if you place your hand above a dark cloth in a room with average light. You’ll see a glow around your fingers. That’s your aura!

Typically, a practitioner is intuitive and utilizes this ability to best suit the client’s needs. It is many times discovered that a physical ailment is actually a result of a spiritual dilemma. Also, the client doesn’t need to be in the same room as the practitioner during a session. Energy is called upon at will and can be sent anywhere-even across the world!

While you’re the most alert and in peak concentration, you’re in beta brain waves. This is usually the range in which the conscious mind takes over. The hypnotic state occurs in alpha. This range occurs when you’re daydreaming, visualizing, and relaxing. Dream state and meditation occur while in theta. Sleep state occur during the delta range.

In theta healing, I get into theta brain waves in order to remove your limiting beliefs.

Can I make positive changes without hypnosis?

Change is also achieved by repetition of mantras. It’s believed that it takes 21 days for a habit or change to occur. With hypnosis, it may take a one hour session to make a change! Of course each individual is unique and a few sessions may be necessary for some.

Can a hypnotherapist brainwash you?

No. It’s important to know that during a hypnotic state, the client is still aware of what is going on. The hypnotherapist is a facilitator and the client is always in full control. If something is said that doesn’t ring true with the client, he will reject that belief.

Can anybody be hypnotized?

Almost. If you go into the session believing you won’t be hypnotized, then you won’t! You have to be open-minded. This is true for other healing therapies. If a person doesn’t want to be helped, nothing will work.

Muscle Testing

Many of us have deeply ingrained beliefs we’re unaware of. In many instances these beliefs are developed from childhood experiences into adulthood. Muscle testing allows you to discover what beliefs you carry in your subconscious mind.

How Muscle Testing Works

When you say something that is untrue based on what your subconscious mind believes, your muscles weaken. When you say something that resonates with the subconscious mind, your muscles remain strong.

You can muscle test by holding your thumb and forefinger in a circle with one hand, and using the second hand to break through the ring. Find the proper strength to hold the fingers in a circle by testing with questions you know the answer to. Start by asking, “My name is (your name).” Then test again, but this time saying another name. Your fingers should break when you give the wrong name and remain closed when you say your correct name.
